The Journey of George

Developed a working RPG following George, a monkey venturing through a forest filled with varying obstacles. Built the LevelSelect interface and contributed across visual, structural, and system design — creating UML class and sequence diagrams and implementing progression systems, platform programming, assets, and animations. Personally designed and built Level 6, "The Final Climb." Troubleshot merge conflicts and integration issues to ensure overall game cohesion and seamless functionality.

Experience

May 2026 – August 2026

Oakville, Ontario

Ford

Engineering & Maintenance Intern

  • Programmed custom industrial control software featuring a hysteresis-backed 3-tier state machine to calculate differential pressure in real time, automating seal-in logic and exception handling to drive IO-Link stack lights, execute immediate station shutdowns, and trigger self-clearing fault loops during pressure spikes.
  • Integrated field sensor telemetry with live plant-floor company-based monitoring dashboards and an automated SMS dispatch system, eliminating passive paper logs and reducing critical failure detection latency from an 8-hour shift window to 0 seconds, reducing process risk FMEA RPN by 87.5% (216 to 27) while directly optimizing plant-wide MTTR and MTBF metrics.
